The only place you can buy Realisation is from their website, and the return/exchange process is complicated so I was a little nervous about buying from them since I didn't have familiarity with their sizing to be sure I was getting the right size for me.
I searched for blog reviews on Realisation hoping I could get help from someone else's experience with the brand and found a great blog called new:inspired. Her reviews are really helpful and I've gone back to read her opinions on other items as well since then! Based partly on her review and partly on my intuition about which direction to go, I ordered an XL in the Teale dress. I have a bigger chest, stand 5'9" and wear a size 30 in jeans.
In fact, I ordered another in Teale in the cherry print because I liked the first one so much! XL suits me perfectly. Considering the price, I like that Realisation is made from silk instead of man-made materials like a few other brands with a similar aesthetic, for example Rouje asks for the same price point but their items are made from synthetics.

Since it's a lower cut top, I had to find a better bra to wear with these dresses. I can't say enough nice things about this bra from Natori. It's a "plunge" bra meaning the band is lower and the cups aren't covering as much so your bra isn't peaking out of the dress.
The other item I bought to make wearing the dress more comfortable is a slip in a complimentary color so that if a breeze flips your dress back you won't flash everyone- I try to match it to the dress so that it's not obvious that I'm wearing a slip if the dress does flap open. Victoria's Secret always has deep V-necked short slips like this one (the Very Sexy satin and lace slip). Usually you can get them during a sale even:
I have since gotten a few more items from Realisation, and I'll post reviews on them too. So if there is a style you're hoping for a review on, let me know in the comments and I'll write something on that style next!
